Located in the southwest Calgary community of Palliser, the Urban Permaculture Project is an urban residential property showcasing sustainable urban agriculture, permaculture, forest gardening and large-volume rainwater harvesting & management. As a demonstration garden for URBAN FARM SCHOOL, students are able to see sustainable principles and strategies in action. With a front yard edible landscape and backyard vegetable, fruit and berry production, we are able to not only provide for a significant portion of our own food supply, but also do so in a way that is beautiful, inspiring and nurturing.
