JANET MELROSE

 

Janet Melrose is ‘Calgary’s Cottage Gardener’, a growing micro-business specializing in garden consulting, coaching, education and Horticultural Therapy programs.

Her motto is ‘Grow, Nurture, and Bloom’. 

After a career in Calgary’s corporate world, Janet’s lifelong enthusiasm for gardening led her to complete the Prairie Horticultural Certificate (with Distinction) through Olds College, together with the Home Farm Horticultural Therapy Certificate.

Janet takes great satisfaction in sharing her knowledge and passion for horticulture, contributing to the community in positive and productive ways through workshops and various media including writing for The Gardener for the Prairies and Calgary Gardening as well as appearances on TV and radio.
