Surrounded by the natural world throughout her childhood, Jessie's affinity for working with bees came naturally. Although a career in beekeeping had never been her goal, after the birth of her first child she found herself drawn to the rhythm of keeping bees and the joy of sharing beekeeping with others.

After years of hands-on beekeeping, courses and conferences, Jessie founded GREEN BOX BEE CO.

Her experience in the areas of commercial and small-scale beekeeping gives her a well--rounded base of knowledge from which she can draw.

When sharing her passion with others, Jessie works through a lens of inclusion, and considers the symbiotic relationships of all pollinators species and their incredible importance to ecosystem health.
